A remake of the fabled Klon Centaur pedal, the KTR is a magical Overdrive / Boost pedal that if you haven’t had the chance to try out yet, you surely need to.  The brain child of Bill Finnegan, the KTR is capable of a wide range of sounds.  From a boost that is perfectly transparent to the dynamic overdrive tones, the KTR was made to take your favorite tube amp to the next level.  

A new Classic

Aside from a smaller casing, the KTR adds a buffer toggle, which allows you to choose between the original buffered output (plainly preferred) and a new true bypass option. The controls are Gain, treble, and output, which is all you need with a pedal designed to so perfectly compliment your set-up.  Let’s be real… the original, with its insane prices is out of reach, but this remake lives up to the name and truly is a must have gem.
